1.We recommend not aiming but focusing on the bullseye the more you can focus on only the bullseye the more success you will have!
The saying "aim small miss small" holds true.
2. Don't draw your bow way before target is launched. Try drawing as target is launching.
3. Most missed targets are from not leading target enough. Have a friend observe your shooting and advise on leading.
4. The easiest targets to hit is the target thrown straight up. Try to time the target where it peaks and stops.
5.The most difficult targets to hit are the ones that are flying away from shooter so you must account for leading target and also arrow rapidly slowing down.
6. Start off close. 12 yards is a good distance to start and keep speed setting slower at around 40-50.
The best arrows for aerial targets are spiral wrapped flu flu arrows. Because they completely stop and have the parachute effect at around 40 yards with most traditional bows.
The four and six fletch flu flu arrows will travel much farther.
A 500 spine carbon arrow is usually a good fit for most. With a 100 grain field point.
